Transfer of Equity

‘Transfer of Equity’ is a term used when a borrower is either released from a mortgage, or added to the mortgage.

There can be many reasons why a Transfer of Equity could be required:
•    Marriage
•    Divorce
•    Tax reasons
•    Adjustment of shares

The lender will have to carefully review the transfer application to ensure there is the ability to repay the contractual repayments. The lender may also be interested in the credit check status of you and any other borrower, and will check for any signs that may indicate potential problems relating to future repayment, as well as the track record of previous payments.

We will make the process as straightforward as possible and will help to ensure that it is completed in a professional and timely manner.
