During Covid-19, the notice periods you’ve been required to give tenants has changed several times. No landlord wants to get to the end of the notice period, issue proceedings and get their claim struck out because their notice is defective for some reason. We urge landlords to check their notices and if in any doubt, seek our advice on whether they are valid or not. We can do this for a fixed fee of £90 inc vat. If the notice is deemed valid, a landlord can then proceed with confidence but if invalid, we can advise on what steps need to be taken and if necessary, serve a fresh notice for an additional fee of just £54 inc vat.
